In my business office I have various items on display. A couple of bird mounts, framed art prints, a hunting and fishing library, photographs. Yet, there is one item that everyone always draws to and states, “boy, I wish I had kept my duck stamps, are they worth anything?” As illustrated, I have mounted all my federal and state waterfowl stamps on black cardboard. Brown burlap outlines the stamps framed in weathered wood.
Each year I add my season stamps to this collection. My collection goes back to my sixteenth birthday. All the stamps have my signature carefully hidden on its surface and thus there really is no resale value to them. However, the hunting season memories are priceless. Start your collection now. Check your gun cabinet drawers, old billfolds, hunting jackets for those old duck stamps and recycle your duck stamps for lasting memories.
